It has been a long while since I've posted here. It seems as if I, at times, create all of these little #Darling domains here on the web and then abandon them... terrible but honest. However over time I've learned you can't do absolutely everything but you should absolutely everything you enjoy and I remember this blog as being one of the things that I enjoyed most. So I guess now's the best time as any to announce my return to the blogger.com blogsphere.

the one blackberry app I missed terribly & the one that is arguably the best app they've got 

is the beloved BBM 

and everyone I know has been in a frenzy as of late because it's made it's way to

Moving Right along

So the society and I have joined the #PopUp culture 

and we are very much enamored with it all

We've just recently staged our very 1st pop up show on the streets of San Francisco 

It began at the Powell St Plaza 

(where we got shut down by the cops but not before having the officer tell me that I am immensely talented and fabulous) 

and from there we moved over to Haight st

Where the Pink Dolphin Flagship store 

was celebrating it's Grand Opening

 

I performed a quick 10 minute set there right outside of True SF

where they captured this image of me for their IG account

and other then myself there were other artist out there such

IAMSU x the other poppin members of The HBK Gang 

as well as Troy of LLF

 It was a blast

 We're currently plotting #PopUP No. 02

I know I've been away far too long 

and boy how I miss you all 

but there has been beautiful chaos happening outside in my real world 

and it's been keeping me away :( 

I'm working on better time management 

so that I'll be able to have more time to hang out with you all

It's been quite some time rightI've been away working on my 3 Part Mixtape Series titled V.I just completed the 1st portion Vintage and will be getting that out ASAP !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep In Mind Dolls and Gents 

It's a habit of mine to contemplate life on a forgoing basis 

I've long known that I am in many ways 

at the mercy of the universe 

however it wasn't until recently that I actually learned to let go 

.

I've accepted that 

I can only steer my ship, I cannot control the waters 

I've spent many of hours on plenty of days 

attempting to control the uncontrollable 

trying to direct that which cannot be directed by the hand or mind 

of any one human being 

I've accepted that I have to trust,

trust that I'm being led on a path of beauty 

and trust that it's my duty to improve only 

upon myself, live my dream, learn along the way, & enjoy the ride

.

Even the darkest moments host an enchanting nature

and the balance of it all 

the beauty and the terror 

create the balance that is my life

Ingredients:

• Patrón Silver1 1/2 oz
• white grape juice2 1/2 oz
• splash of ginger ale
• spear of 
• 1 blueberry 
• 1 raspberry 
• and 1 white grape for garnish

How to Mix:

Build over ice in a shaker,

 pour into an ice-filled tall glass, 

and top with ginger ale.

Garnish with blueberry,

 raspberry, 

and white grape.

Lately I've seen a few things 

posted around cyber city that pertain to a 

Spring 2012 

Costume Institute Exhibition 

taking place at 

The Met 

in

New York

!!!!!!!!!!!

It appears that from now until 

August 19th 

they'll be hosting an exhibit that explores the

"striking affinities"

between two fashion icons 

Miss. Elsa Schiaparelli 

(1890-1973)

&

Miss. Miuccia Prada

(1949- )

The exhibit is titled 

"Impossible Conversations" 

inspired by Miguel Covarrubia's

"Impossible Interviews" for Vanity Fair in the 1930s.

The exhibition host orchestrated conversations between 

the two fashionably brilliant women

it presents

fabulous ensembles with videos of 

simulated conversations amongst 

Schiaparelli & Prada 

Directed by 

Baz Luhrmann

Schiaparelli, whose work was associated with the surrealist movement 

and Prada, whose work is associated with postmodernism were both born 

in Italy to old time conservative Italian families 

and both decided to divert from the given path for a chosen path 

fairly early on in life

Elsa's 1st act of "rebellion" was in conceiving 

racy poems 

& 

Miuccia, a child in the 60's,

 "mounted the leftist political barriers with her friends"

(according to trendland.net) 

It seems from youth,

 though living in two different era's,

 the two had much in common

.

There are 90 designs & 30 accessories combined total 

from both designers 

showcased in the exhibit 

The signature objects from both women 

are detailed in 7 themed galleries

- Hard Chic

- Naïf  Chic

- The Classical Body

- The Exotic Body 

- The Surreal Body
