Amy Winehouse | Charles Bukowski | Random images of Inspiration | Clubhouse Treasures

Happy Sunday Darlings

I'm feeling rather random today.
I have Amy Winehouse tunes swaying the waves of my mind
I'm very into Charles Bukowski's truth at the moment.
I've also been hunting around here in the cyber world
for random inspirational treasures.

All this means is....
I have tons to share with you guys & gals

Damn Amy
My heart is still broken
I do not mourn,
I just enjoy what it is that she's left behind.

For those of you unfamiliar with
Mr. Charles Bukowski
I implore you to drop by
this online museum

It'll tell you all you need to know & more.

But to sum it up fairly quickly before I share some of his work
I'll say this
It is in my most humble opinion that I find
Charles Bukowski
to be arguably
one of the greatest minds to touch earth.
All of his words were un-fancy but utterly full
Simple truth, No BS
Just the way I like it

Below I've posted things he's written
that I enjoy

“Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead.”
― Charles Bukowski

“I wanted the whole world or nothing.”
― Charles BukowskiPost Office

“Drinking is an emotional thing. It joggles you out of the standardism of everyday life, out of everything being the same. It yanks you out of your body and your mind and throws you against the wall. I have the feeling that drinking is a form of suicide where you're allowed to return to life and begin all over the next day. It's like killing yourself, and then you're reborn. I guess I've lived about ten or fifteen thousand lives now.”
― Charles Bukowski

“those who escape hell
never talk about
and nothing much
bothers them
― Charles Bukowski

“A love like that was a serious illness, an illness from which you never entirely recover.”
― Charles BukowskiThe People Look Like Flowers at Last

“you boys can keep your virgins
give me hot old women in high heels
with asses that forgot to get old. ”
― Charles BukowskiLove is a Dog from Hell

“Some lose all mind and become soul, insane.
some lose all soul and become mind, intellectual.
some lose both and become accepted”
― Charles Bukowski

“Nothing was ever in tune. People just blindly grabbed at whatever there was: communism, health foods, zen, surfing, ballet, hypnotism, group encounters, orgies, biking, herbs, Catholicism, weight-lifting, travel, withdrawal, vegetarianism, India, painting, writing, sculpting, composing, conducting, backpacking, yoga, copulating, gambling, drinking, hanging around, frozen yogurt, Beethoven, Back, Buddha, Christ, TM, H, carrot juice, suicide, handmade suits, jet travel, New York City, and then it all evaporated and fell apart. People had to find things to do while waiting to die. I guess it was nice to have a choice.”
